Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: June 2025

Summary

Crypto Radar earns commissions when you sign up for exchanges, wallets, or other crypto services through certain links on this site. This never influences our coverage, assessments, or editorial opinions. We highlight platforms we believe in — and criticize ones we don't, regardless of any commercial relationship. Nothing here is financial advice.

What are affiliate links?

Some links on Crypto Radar are affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you click through and sign up or trade. The cost to you is exactly the same as if you navigated directly to the platform's website — you don't pay more, and sometimes we can negotiate reader-specific fee discounts or sign-up bonuses.

Which links are affiliate links?

Links labelled “Sign up”, “Open account”, or “Get Started” in our exchange and wallet guides and comparison pages are typically affiliate links. Not every platform we cover has a referral program — in those cases, we link to them directly with no commission.

We do not use affiliate link cloaking or disguise affiliate links as editorial links. When in doubt, assume any link pointing to an exchange, wallet, or service's signup page may be an affiliate link.

Does this affect our reviews?

No. Our assessments are determined entirely by our research process and editorial judgment — not by commercial relationships. Here's how we protect our editorial independence:

  • Writers do not know whether a platform has an affiliate program before writing their assessment
  • Assessments are finalized before any commercial negotiations take place
  • We regularly publish critical coverage of exchanges and protocols we have affiliate relationships with
  • No platform or project can pay to influence its coverage — this is a hard policy with no exceptions

FTC compliance

In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines (16 CFR Part 255), we disclose that we may receive compensation for links to products and services on this site. This disclosure appears on every page of our site and within individual reviews where applicable.

Other revenue sources

Affiliate commissions are our primary revenue source. We may also earn revenue through:

  • Newsletter sponsorships — Clearly labelled as “Sponsored” in every issue where they appear
  • Direct advertising — Clearly marked as ads, never embedded in editorial content

We do not accept payment for editorial coverage, guaranteed positive reviews, or ranking improvements. These lines are non-negotiable.

Questions?

If you have questions about our affiliate relationships or want to know whether we have a commercial relationship with a specific exchange, wallet, or protocol, feel free to reach out. We believe in full transparency.
